R-Line Equipment Package for the Volkswagen Touareg

Sporty combination of rugged design and sophisticated materials

Wolfsburg, 25 January 2008 - The Volkswagen Individual product offensive proceeds to the next round; the elegant but sporty R-Line accessory package was recently also made available for the Volkswagen Touareg. The “Exterieur” and “Plus” packages include a range of sporty design features and can be ordered individually or together as desired.

The R-Line "Plus" package comprises 20-inch Omanyt-type alloy wheels, a four-spoke multifunctional leather steering wheel, aluminium pedals featuring the R logo and sports-style seats with nappa leather trim. Prices for this package of optional extras for the Touareg start at €5,350.

The "Exterieur" package features a combination of sporty extras such as a radiator grill with a dual-rib design and a matte chrome finish, and stylish body-colour bumpers and sills. The impressive looking package is rounded off with two oval exhaust tips and a high-performance chassis setup that lowers the body by 20 millimetres. Prices for the "Exterieur" package start at €4,450, while the combination of both packages is available from €7,630. They can be ordered for all engine types (with the exception of the Touareg R5 TDI).
