Jörg Waldeck to Head External Relations at Volkswagen
Wolfsburg, 27 November 2007 - Jörg Waldeck (41) will take over as Head of the External Relations department at Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft in Wolfsburg with effect from February 1, 2008.
Following posts in corporate communications at German energy suppliers, the political science graduate held various management functions in the public affairs department at another automotive manufacturer, latterly as head of the group office in Berlin.
In his new capacity, Waldeck will be responsible for Volkswagen Group external relations and will coordinate activities to represent the interests of the company vis-à-vis national and international politics, organizations and associations.
