Volkswagen Appoints New Spokesperson for Finance

Wolfsburg, Germany (26 April 2006) - Volkswagen AG is strengthening Group Communications with a new Spokesperson for Finance. Christine Ritz (38) will assume responsibility for this area at Group Communications effective July 1.

The finance expert moves to Volkswagen from Deutsche Lufthansa AG in Frankfurt, where she has been responsible for business and finance communications in the Lufthansa Group, heading the Corporate & Finance Team. Prior to this post, Ritz was spokesperson for “Genossenschaftsverband der Volksbanken und Raiffeisenbanken“ (cooperative bank association).

Christine Ritz succeeds Frank Gaube.
