$68 Million Kentucky Manufacturing Incentives Fast Tracks Electric Vehicle Talks at ZAP with Integrity Manufacturing
SANTA ROSA, CA, Monday, August 18, 2008 -- Randall S. Waldman and Larry Cottingham of Integrity Manufacturing LLC are in Santa Rosa, California today for meetings with the management of electric vehicle pioneer ZAP (OTC BB:ZAAP.OB - News).
Integrity Manufacturing has been working with the State of Kentucky to help provide incentives to attract more manufacturing and assembly to the state. On Friday The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority gave preliminary approval for $68 million in state incentives for a large-scale manufacturing initiative with Integrity. The project is expected to bring economic development, new factory production and up to 2,500 jobs to Kentucky.
SANTA ROSA, CA, June 2, 2008 -- Electric transportation pioneer ZAP (OTC BB:ZAAP.OB) announced today that it has acquired an ownership interest in an electric motor company to develop and manufacture a new line of wheel motors for future vehicle developments and global distribution.
Under the agreement, ZAP is collaborating and investing in the development of a line of wheel motors for various types of electric vehicles, from an electric bike or scooter to an electric car. ZAP and its partner have also agreed to work together on the optimum process for manufacturing all motors and controllers. ZAP has been granted exclusive rights to the wheel motors under the agreement for international distribution.

SANTA ROSA, CA, May 19, 2008 -- Electric vehicle pioneer ZAP (OTC BB: ZAAP) announced today that Dubai's Al-Yousuf Group has completed a transaction to purchase a convertible debt that was part of a private placement registration from October 2007.
As part of the transaction, The Al Yousuf Group has purchased the convertible debt for $475,000.

ZAP Challenges Others to Match or Exceed Its $50,000 Donation
DEZHOU, SHANDONG PROVINCE, CHINA and SANTA ROSA, CA, May 15, 2008 -- California electric car pioneer ZAP (OTC BB:ZAAP.OB) is starting a relief fund with the factory for its Xebra electric car and truck to aid victims of the May 12 earthquake in Sichuan, China.
ZAP is asking the public and Corporate America to make donations to assist the relief efforts in China. ZAP will match donations up to $50,000 to the American Red Cross.
ZAP Electric Car Orders Grow to $6.8 Million

The Northern California Company reported that as of April 8, 2008 it had $6.8 million in backlog orders for the ZAP Xebra electric sedan and pickup from auto-dealer purchase contracts.

Tests Show up to 120 Miles per Gallon
SANTA ROSA, CA, Mar 10, 2008 -- Electric car pioneer ZAP (OTC BB:ZAAP.OB) is now offering plug-in hybrid conversion systems for the Toyota Prius and Ford Escape Hybrid through a collaboration agreement with Hybrids Plus.
Hybrid vehicles retrofitted with systems from Hybrids Plus of Boulder, Colorado can achieve a significantly greater fuel economy. In tests these systems increased hybrid fuel economy up to 120 miles per gallon in the city and up to 90 mpg on the highway. The cost for the conversion ranges from $24,000 to $36,000 depending on the vehicle and size of battery pack.
