Volvo Cars' Website Ranked 4th of 225 Global Corporate Websites
Jun 17, 2008 -- There has been positive development on Volvo Cars' website, directed towards customers. The independent web research company Bytelevel has placed Volvo Car Corporation's website in an honourable fourth place. This is a higher ranking than companies such as Microsoft, Nokia, HP and others. In the most recent survey, Bytelevel has tested 225 global corporate websites.
At mid-year, Volvo Cars will launch an additional seven local websites in South and Central America.
"We have succeeded thanks to the fact that we got an early start on the Internet," says David Holecek, head of Global Interactive Marketing. "We also got an early start with a publishing tool and the local markets supported us and took part in building up the site."
Continental Presents Its Modern Face with New Website
Hanover, Germany, October 25, 2007 -- Following a three-month conception phase, Continental AG has revised the layout and design of the Continental websites, thus improving their user-friendliness. By the end of the year, a total of around 50 websites in various languages will be adapted. "The aim is to improve the information, while at the same time increasing the websites' entertainment capacity and emotionality and thereby strengthening the identity of the Continental brand", says Monika Andrae, Director of Online Relations at Continental and project manager. "Secure and convenient navigation around our sites is just as important to us as the quick and easy retrieval of information."
