BRENTWOOD, Essex, 18 June, 2008 -- Ford S-MAX has been named winner in the large MPV category at the British Insurance Car Security Awards for the second year running. The Awards rate vehicles according to their resistance to theft and break-ins and are backed by Thatcham, the Department for Transport, UK Insurers and supported by the Home Office.

PITTSBURGH, April 2008 – PPG Industries (NYSE:PPG) is showcasing its Safe and Sound laminated glass in booth 1751 during the SAE World Congress at Cobo Center in Detroit the week of April 14. Safe and Sound glass is the platform for many of PPG’s enhanced glazing technologies.

NASTF Announces 2007 Fall Meeting

LEESBURG, Va., Oct. 4 /PRNewswire - USNewswire/ -- The National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF) has scheduled the next NASTF General Meeting for October 31st at 1:30 pm in the El Dorado Ballroom at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas. Everyone is welcome and no registration is necessary.

"The Fall meeting will feature a report on the progress of the Vehicle Security Committee in developing the Secure Data Release Model to address the key codes and other security data," said Mary Hutchinson, NASTF Administrative Director. "All other committees will also report on progress and we'll have representatives from all industry partners, along with the EPA in attendance."
