Valeo Receives 2007 Best Innovator Award for "Methods and Processes"

PARIS, October 26, 2007 /PRNewswire - FirstCall/ -- Valeo has received the top prize for innovation in the category "Methods and Processes" at the 2007 Best Innovator awards ceremony, organized by the consultancy A.T. Kearney in partnership with the economic daily "Les Echos".

The Best Innovator awards recognize the best practices in innovation management from among 700 companies with sales of over 300 million euros.

Valeo to Sell Its Wiring Harness Activity to Leoni

PARIS, October 16 /PRNewswire -FirstCall/ -- Valeo today announced that it has signed a contract with Leoni regarding the sale of its wiring harness activity, Valeo Connective Systems, for an enterprise value of 255 million euros. The activity generated sales of 545 million euros and an EBITDA of 36 million euros in 2006. It employs 11,700 people at 12 industrial sites, including 9 in cost-competitive countries.
