Woodcliff Lake, NJ, June 12, 2008 -- BMW of North America, LLC. today opened its new $100 million addition to its Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey US headquarters. The expansion is BMW Group's largest investment in the U.S. since the inception of its U.S. subsidiary in 1975, apart from the plant in Spartanburg, S.C.

Stuttgart, 4/1/2008 -- In March 2008, Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, held its ground well in a market environment characterized by recession fears in the US and Canada. At 2,624, the number of vehicles delivered to customers was down by 24% on the figure for the previous year. As before, the second generation of the sport utility Cayenne with its reduced consumption engines resonated strongly with customers. The most recent proof of this is the successful market launch of the particularly sporty Porsche Cayenne GTS, 396 units of which were sold on the North American market in the first month following its launch.

Volkswagen Group of America Announces Senior Personnel Changes

Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for people in the United States ages 2 through 34. In 2006, motor vehicle crashes claimed 42,642 lives and accounted for over 90 percent of transportation-related deaths.
