NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Returns to ESPN with Allstate 400 at the Brickyard

July 21, 2008 -- The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series returns to ESPN with live, flag-to-flag coverage of the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard from Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday, July 27, at 1 p.m. ET. The Allstate 400 at the Brickyard is the first of 17 NASCAR Sprint Cup events on the ESPN networks to close out the 2008 NASCAR season. The first six air on ESPN, with the final 11 on ABC, including all 10 races in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

NASCAR Nationwide Series Live in Prime Time from Daytona on ESPN2

June 30, 2008 -- ESPN2 continues its season-long coverage of the NASCAR Nationwide Series with a live, prime-time telecast of the 250-mile race at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway Friday, July 4, beginning at 7 p.m. ET with NASCAR Countdown. The telecast from the 2.5-mile superspeedway also airs in high definition on ESPN2 HD.

June 26, 2008 -- Ford's distinctive all-new vehicle - the 2009 Ford Flex - brought some of the hottest names in Hip Hop and R&B to the red carpet Tuesday evening for events surrounding the BET Awards '08 - often dubbed as the "hottest ticket on television." The show aired live from Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium on June 24.

June 23, 2008 -- Dale Jarrett returns to the TV booth Saturday, June 28, as ESPN on ABC presents live coverage of the NASCAR Nationwide Series Camping World RV Sales 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, N.H. The telecast begins at 2:30 p.m. ET with NASCAR Countdown and the green flag flies at 3:15 p.m. The telecast from the 1.058-mile track also airs in high definition on ABC HD.

London, Great Britain, June 23, 2008 -- A1GP World Cup of Motorsport enters a new era as the 2008/09 season approaches, moving to the forefront of technology by becoming one of the first international racing series to offer its World Feed TV Broadcast in High Definition (HD).

A1GP is carried by more than 45 broadcast licensees worldwide, reaching nearly 180 countries and territories around the globe. They will all now be given the option to receive A1GPs host broadcast in HD, while broadcasters without HD channels will still be able to receive the Standard Definition feed.

BRENTWOOD, Essex, May 20, 2008 – The TV commercial for Ford's new crossover vehicle, the 2008 Ford Kuga, will be aired for the first time on 21 May to one of the largest TV audiences of the year. Estimated to attract around 15 million viewers, the UEFA Champions League final between Chelsea and Manchester United on Wednesday, 21 May is the chosen spot. The new commercial will be shown at 20.32 on ITV and SKY Sports following the half-time whistle.
