SEMA State of the Association Address Takes Place on Feb. 7
What: The 2008 SEMA State of the Association is an annual meeting where
SEMA executives discuss current programs and inform members about what to expect in the coming year. Discussion will include topics, such as hiring and training, legislation, research, vehicle technology and more.

Volvo Unleashes Volley of Exciting New Concept Vehicles at the 2007 SEMA Show
Las Vegas, NV (October 30, 2007) - Five years, five cars. As a commemoration to Volvo's fifth straight year at the annual Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) tradeshow, the Swedish manufacturer will show five highly modified versions of its vehicles. Ranging from the all-new Volvo XC70 to a high-performance version of the Volvo S80 T6, an eye-popping Volvo C30 to a Volvo C70 convertible, and a one-off fully custom hot rod, this year marks Volvo Cars most ambitious SEMA effort ever.
Four of the concepts are based on production versions of the Volvo XC70, the S80 T6, the C70 Convertible and the C30, while the fifth car is a built-from-the-ground-up, totally custom hot rod using major Volvo components from the previous-generation S80.

LAS VEGAS, U.S.A., October 30, 2007 – More than 17 Honda project and concept vehicles are on display at the 2007 Specialty Equipment Market Association's (SEMA) show in Las Vegas, American Honda Motor Co., Inc., announced.
Making its world debut, the Honda Accord Coupe HF-S Concept represents a radical vision for customizing the all-new Accord's design and performance through stylish and functional modifications. A dual-port exhaust system can provide additional performance when needed while retaining low noise output during relaxed driving. Purely a concept, the Accord HF-S Concept is a creation of Honda Access America, Inc., the U.S. accessory development division.
Phoenix Motorcars Joins SNUGTOP at 2007 SEMA Show
ONTARIO, CA, October 26, 2007 - Phoenix Motorcars, a California-based electric vehicle company will join SNUGTOP as an exhibitor at the SEMA show attended by over 100,000 automobile industry buyers. Phoenix Motorcars and SNUGTOP recently formed a partnership to provide the SnugLid tonneau cover as an OEM product for Phoenix's all-electric sports utility truck (SUT).
SEMA attendees are encouraged to visit SNUGTOP's booth, 31137, located in the trucks, SUV's and off-road hall to see the Phoenix SUT and learn why the SUT is an energy-efficient solution for utility companies and government agencies that require fleet vehicles.

Goodyear Launches Licensed Product Kiosk at Retail Stores
AKRON, OHIO, October 15, 2007 – Using its network of retail stores as a licensing proving ground, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company today began installing free-standing, licensed product kiosks at 65 Goodyear Auto Service Centers and 118 Just Tires locations across the United States. The initial installation, which will take place between now and the end of October, is part of a broader future retail distribution plan for its licensed products according to Bob Paciulan, manager of licensed products for Goodyear.
The new kiosks will offer 22 distinctive products ranging from air compressors to floor mats and air pressure gauges, produced by licensees and carrying the Goodyear name. Product prices range from $2 to $40.
