More than 426.200 vehicles sold by May with High growth rates in Asia/Pacific

06 June 2008 -- AUDI AG sold more than 426,200 vehicles worldwide from January to May, an increase of 1.5 percent. In the month of May, Audi increased sales to 88,200 vehicles, up an additional 0.8 percent versus the strong prior-year month. The strongest growth drivers were once again the Asia/Pacific and Eastern Europe regions.

April 25, 2008, Tokyo -- Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) today announced its full-year results for the year ending March 31, 2008, together with forecasts for the year ending March 31, 2009.

Mitsubishi Motors' consolidated sales for fiscal 2007 totaled 2 trillion 682.1 billion yen
($25.7 billion), a 22 percent increase of 479.2 billion yen ($4.60 billion) over the previous fiscal year. Factors behind the improved performance include a 10 percent growth in global retail sales over fiscal 2006, the commencement of OEM vehicle supplies to PSA Peugeot Citroen and favorable yen exchange rates.

Tokyo, February 5, 2008 — Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) today announced its sales and financial results for the first nine months of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2008 and its full-year forecasts.

Mitsubishi Motors reported that consolidated net sales in the first nine months of fiscal 2007 (April 1 through December 31, 2007) totaled one trillion 947.3 billion yen, a 26 percent increase of 403.2 billion yen over the same period last fiscal year (one trillion 544.1 billion yen). The gain stems principally from higher sales of vehicles in Europe and in Asia and other regions and from favorable yen exchange rates.

SANTA MONICA, Calif., January 28, 2008 — This month's new vehicle sales (including fleet sales) are expected to be 1.05 million units, a 2.9 percent decrease from January 2007 and a 23.8 percent decrease from December 2007, according to Edmunds.com, the premier online resource for automotive information. This amounts to a seasonally adjusted annual rate (SAAR) of 16.1 million units.

At 102,700 units, deliveries of Mercedes-Benz vehicles at highest level ever for the month of November

Stuttgart -- Dec 06, 2007 -- Stuttgart – Mercedes-Benz has set a new sales record for the period between January and November, with 1,079,400 units delivered (Jan.-Nov. 2006: 1,042,500 units). Sales rose by four percent compared to the same period of the previous year. By selling 102,700 passenger vehicles worldwide in November, Mercedes-Benz once again topped the high level set in November 2006 with 101,900 units sold.

Volkswagen Group reports record deliveries in first nine months with 684,786 units

Beijing, 11 October 2007 - Volkswagen Group China (VGC) increases its sales target for the whole year 2007 to 900,000 vehicles. In the first nine months it achieved a new sales record together with its two joint ventures Shanghai Volkswagen and FAW-Volkswagen. Deliveries to customers in China mainland and Hong Kong grew by 30.2 percent to 684,786 (1-9 2006: 525,941) vehicles. Sales of the Volkswagen brand amounted to 594,270 (1-9 2006: 464,826, up 27.9 percent) including 6,322 imported vehicles. Audi delivered 76,168 vehicles to customers (1-9 2006: 60,467, up 25.9 percent) including 6,504 imported units. Skoda sold 14,094 (1-9 2006: 518) cars, including 208 imported vehicles.

Some Automakers Enjoy Gains Despite Soft Market

SANTA MONICA, Calif., September 27, 2007 — This month's new vehicle sales (including fleet sales) are expected to be 1.29 million units, a 4.5 percent decrease from September 2006, according to Edmunds.com, the premier online resource for automotive information.

This September had 25 selling days, one less than September 2006. When adjusted for this difference, sales decreased 0.7 percent from September 2006.
