Woodcliff Lake, NJ, April 14, 2008 -- BMW announces its latest milestone in its pursuit of the hydrogen future, the BMW Hydrogen 7 mono-fuel, featuring an internal combustion engine in the BMW Hydrogen 7 mono-fuel that produces near zero emissions while, at the same time, combusting ambient air pollutants. Based on the BMW Hydrogen 7 bi-fuel version (gasoline and hydrogen), the new mono-fuel vehicle's internal combustion engine is optimized to run solely on hydrogen and shares the performance, comfort, and safety qualities of every production BMW 7 Series. One of the BMW Hydrogen 7 mono-fuel vehicles is featured in the BMW Booth at the 2008 SAE World Congress being held this week in Detroit.

Automotive glass technology gives passengers peace of mind, increases fuel efficiency

PITTSBURGH, April 2008 – PPG Industries (NYSE:PPG) is showcasing its Safe and Sound laminated glass in booth 1751 during the SAE World Congress at Cobo Center in Detroit the week of April 14. Safe and Sound glass is the platform for many of PPG’s enhanced glazing technologies.

PPG, together with General Motors, will demonstrate the unique properties of Enhanced Technology Glass (ETG) during a press conference in the PPG booth at 3 p.m., April 14.

WARRENDALE, Pa., Feb. 12, 2008 -- Robert Nardelli, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Chrysler LLC, will be the featured speaker at the SAE 2008 World Congress Annual Banquet, scheduled Thursday, April 17, 7 p.m., at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center.

The event, which has grown into one of the largest gatherings of global automotive industry leaders, caps off the four-day SAE 2008 World Congress hosted this year by Chrysler.
