ONTARIO, Calif., April 17, 2008 – Phoenix Motorcars, a California-based electric vehicle manufacturer, recently participated at the Low Carbon Fuels 2008, a two-day event in Sacramento featuring the latest in alternative fuel technologies. Phoenix Motorcars displayed its zero-emission sport utility truck, 2008 Phoenix SUT and participated in the "Ride and Drive" activity.
"This summit was an opportunity to meet with decision makers to discuss our electric vehicle's capabilities in effectively reducing operational costs while alleviating damaging emissions," said Bryon Bliss, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Phoenix Motorcars.
Officials from the California State Senate, California Air Resource Board (CARB), California Energy Commission (CEC) and Western Governors Association took time to personally drive the Phoenix SUT. Fleet decision makers continue to identify the Phoenix SUT and Phoenix SUV as a viable solution to fleet vehicle needs.
