Nissan Reports May 2008 Production, Sales and Export Results

TOKYO, June 26, 2008 – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced production, sales and export figures for May 2008.

1. Production

Nissan’s global production in May increased 5.1% year-on-year to 275,918 units.

Export models from Japan such as Nissan Rogue, Nissan Murano, Nissan X-Trail and March boosted domestic production to 100,299 units, exceeding the previous year by 40.3%.

Production outside of Japan dropped 8.1% year-on-year to 175,619 units.

In the U.S., production fell 26.1% to 43,317 units compared to the year prior.

In Mexico, production decreased 4.7% year-on-year to 41,784 units.

Nissan to Showcase Nissan X-TRAIL Diesel Prototype at 2008 G8 Hokkaido Toyako Summit

TOKYO, June 9, 2008 – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced that it will showcase the Nissan X-TRAIL diesel prototype at the 2008 Integrated Exhibition of the Environment in Hokkaido*1 (June 19-21) as well at the G8 Hokkaido Toyako Summit’s International Media Center (July 7-9). Nissan’s participation supports the focus on environmental issues at the G8 Summit meetings.

Japan is slated to introduce its new emission regulatory standards, referred to as ‘‘Post New Long-term Regulations’’, by October, 2009*2. Ahead of its implementation, Nissan plans to introduce the X-TRAIL diesel in September this year, which will meet with the more stringent standards.

TOKYO, February 26, 2008 – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced production, sales and export figures for January 2008.

1.Production
Nissan’s global production grew 13.8% year-on-year to 316,172 units, making an all-time record for the month of January.

In Japan, the new Nissan X-Trail, Nissan Tiida, new export model Nissan Rogue (launched in September in North America) and new Infiniti EX (launched in December in North America) contributed to increased production. Total domestic production grew 26.1% to 115,748 units, compared to the year prior.

Overseas production rose 7.8% year-on-year to 200,424 units, making a record production month for plants worldwide.

In the US, the Altima coupe contributed to a year-on-year production increase of 5.7% to 63,981 units.

TOKYO, Jan. 28, 2008 – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced production, sales and export results for December and calendar year 2007.

Nissan’s global production in December increased 15.5% year-on-year to 274,661 units, for an all-time record for the month of December.

New products such as the Nissan X-Trail, Nissan Rogue (launched in September in the U.S.) and Infiniti EX (launched in December in the U.S.) contributed to increased production at plants in Japan. Total domestic production grew 18.1% to 114,428 units compared to the previous year.

Overseas production rose 13.7% year-on-year to 160,233 units, marking a record production month.

TOKYO, January 8, 2008 - Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. together with its affiliates, Autech Japan, Inc. and Nissan Motorsports International Co., Ltd. (NISMO), will present 16 models at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2008 with Nippon Auto Parts Aftermarket Committee (NAPAC), to be held at Makuhari Messe from January 11-13, and the Osaka AutoMesse 2008, to be held at INTEX Osaka from February 9-11, 2008.

2008 Nissan X-TRAIL Receives Four Stars in Euro NCAP Test

TRAPPES, France, November 27/PRNewswire - FirstCall/ -- Nissan Motor Co.'s brand new Nissan X-TRAIL SUV was awarded four stars out of a maximum five for adult, as well as child, occupant protection by the European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP).

Following the safety lead set by the Nissan Qashqai - which received the highest score for adult occupant protection ever by the independent crash test organization - the Nissan X-TRAIL scored especially well in child protection, underlining its role as an ideal family vehicle. X-TRAIL is one of only two vehicles on record to score 43 points for child protection, the maximum yet achieved in Euro NCAP tests.

The vehicle also scored maximum points in side impact and pole crash tests for adult protection.
