Nissan Reports May 2008 Production, Sales and Export Results

TOKYO, June 26, 2008 – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced production, sales and export figures for May 2008.

1. Production

Nissan’s global production in May increased 5.1% year-on-year to 275,918 units.

Export models from Japan such as Nissan Rogue, Nissan Murano, Nissan X-Trail and March boosted domestic production to 100,299 units, exceeding the previous year by 40.3%.

Production outside of Japan dropped 8.1% year-on-year to 175,619 units.

In the U.S., production fell 26.1% to 43,317 units compared to the year prior.

In Mexico, production decreased 4.7% year-on-year to 41,784 units.

TOKYO, February 26, 2008 – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced production, sales and export figures for January 2008.

1.Production
Nissan’s global production grew 13.8% year-on-year to 316,172 units, making an all-time record for the month of January.

In Japan, the new Nissan X-Trail, Nissan Tiida, new export model Nissan Rogue (launched in September in North America) and new Infiniti EX (launched in December in North America) contributed to increased production. Total domestic production grew 26.1% to 115,748 units, compared to the year prior.

Overseas production rose 7.8% year-on-year to 200,424 units, making a record production month for plants worldwide.

In the US, the Altima coupe contributed to a year-on-year production increase of 5.7% to 63,981 units.

Nissan North America Announces January 2008 Sales

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Feb. 1, 2008 /PRNewswire - FirstCall/ -- Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) today reported sales of 76,605 units in January, down 7.3 percent from the prior year. Nissan Division sales decreased 7.8 percent over last year. Infiniti Division sales declined 3.6 percent versus the prior year.

NISSAN HIGHLIGHTS
-- Nissan-brand vehicles saw sales of 67,961 units, a 7.8 percent decrease on a daily sales rate basis compared with last year's 73,680 units sold.
-- The Nissan Rogue crossover saw sales of 5,435 units in its fourth month available in the market.
-- The Nissan Versa subcompact experienced a record January with sales of 5,609 units.
-- The all-new 2009 Nissan Murano went on sale this month, priced $1,500 lower on all models vs. its prior generation.

Nissan overseas production at record 2 million units

TOKYO, Jan. 28, 2008 – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced production, sales and export results for December and calendar year 2007.

Nissan’s global production in December increased 15.5% year-on-year to 274,661 units, for an all-time record for the month of December.

New products such as the Nissan X-Trail, Nissan Rogue (launched in September in the U.S.) and Infiniti EX (launched in December in the U.S.) contributed to increased production at plants in Japan. Total domestic production grew 18.1% to 114,428 units compared to the previous year.

Overseas production rose 13.7% year-on-year to 160,233 units, marking a record production month.

Nissan North America Announces December 2007 Sales

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Jan. 3 /PRNewswire - FirstCall/ -- Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) today reported sales of 89,555 units in December, a 2.4 percent decrease from the prior year. Nissan Division sales declined by 2.2 percent over last year for the month, while Infiniti Division sales decreased by 3.5 percent versus the prior year. NNA finished the 2007 calendar year with sales totaling 1,068,238 units, a 4.5% increase over 2006.

* Nissan-brand vehicles saw sales of 76,900 units, a 2.2 percent decrease on a daily sales rate basis compared with last year's 78,663 units sold.
* Sales of the all-new Nissan Rogue crossover totaled 6,288 units in its third month of sales.

Record October as global production grew 16.3%

TOKYO (November 27, 2007)--Nissan today announced production, sales and export figures for October 2007.

1.Production
Nissan’s global production grew 16.3% year-on-year to 341,036 units, marking an all-time record for the month of October.

In Japan, the Infiniti G35 sedan, Infiniti G37 coupe (Skyline sedan/Skyline coupe in Japan) and the new Rogue, recently launched in North America, contributed to increased production. Total domestic production grew 10.9% to 112,698 units over the previous year.

Overseas production grew 19.1% year-on-year to 228,338 units, marking a record production month for plants outside of Japan.

Carmaker Will Introduce Nissan Rogue, Nissan Murano, Nissan Altima Models

SEOUL, Oct. 9, 2007 – After introducing its luxury Infiniti automotive brand here two years ago, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (NML), Japan, has unveiled plans to bring the Nissan brand to Korea one year later. The move was announced at a recent press conference here.
