Nissan Boosts Production of Popular Nissan Altima

Canton, Miss. plant to add third shift to Altima sedan production

NASHVILLE, Tenn., June 9, 2008 – On the heels of the best sales month in history for the Nissan Altima, Nissan North America, Inc., announced it will modify production at its Canton, Miss., vehicle assembly plant to meet consumer demand. To meet the needs of the marketplace, an additional shift of Altima production will be added to the car system at the Canton plant.

Nissan Altima Inches Past Honda Accord to Become Consumer Reports' Top-Ranked, Midpriced Sedan

YONKERS, N.Y., Jan. 8 /PRNewswire - USNewswire/ -- The newly-redesigned Honda Accord V6 lost its standing as Consumer Reports' top-rated midpriced sedan following testing of seven sedans for the February 2008 issue. NASHVILLE, Tenn., Jan. 3 /PRNewswire - FirstCall/ -- Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) today reported sales of 89,555 units in December, a 2.4 percent decrease from the prior year. Nissan Division sales declined by 2.2 percent over last year for the month, while Infiniti Division sales decreased by 3.5 percent versus the prior year. NNA finished the 2007 calendar year with sales totaling 1,068,238 units, a 4.5% increase over 2006.

Record October as global production grew 16.3%

TOKYO (November 27, 2007)--Nissan today announced production, sales and export figures for October 2007.

1.Production
Nissan’s global production grew 16.3% year-on-year to 341,036 units, marking an all-time record for the month of October.

In Japan, the Infiniti G35 sedan, Infiniti G37 coupe (Skyline sedan/Skyline coupe in Japan) and the new Rogue, recently launched in North America, contributed to increased production. Total domestic production grew 10.9% to 112,698 units over the previous year.

Overseas production grew 19.1% year-on-year to 228,338 units, marking a record production month for plants outside of Japan.

TOKYO (October 29, 2007)--Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., today announced production, sales and export figures for September and the first half of fiscal 2007.

Nissan’s global production grew 15.5% year-on-year to 317,024 units, marking an all-time record for the month of September.

In Japan, the Infiniti G35 sedan/G37 coupe (Skyline sedan/coupe in Japan) and the Rogue which was launched in North America in September contributed to increased production. Total domestic production grew 2.9% to 113,381 units, compared to the previous year.

Overseas production grew 23.9% year-on-year to 203,643 units, marking a record month of September.

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) today reported sales of 94,269 units in September, up 11.0 percent from the prior year. Nissan Division sales increased by 12.1 percent over last year. Infiniti Division sales increased by 2.7 percent versus the prior year.

- Nissan-brand vehicles saw sales of 84,019 units, a 12.1 percent increase on a daily sales rate basis compared with last year's 77,962 units sold.

- The Nissan Altima sedan and Nissan Altima Hybrid combined for sales totaling 24,587 units, while the sales of the new Nissan Altima Coupe totaled 3,284, outpacing expectations. Combined, Nissan Altima sales posted a record month, with sales of 27,871, up 46.7 percent over the prior year.
