May 13, 2008 -- The new look of the hood on the 2007 Nissan 350Z has a Z-themed retro-styled power dome. Under the hood there is an updated version of the car’s 3.5 liter V6 engine which includes a higher rev limit and compression ratio. A twin ram-air intake and variable exhaust camshaft timing are also updated features of this engine.

K&N designed a replacement air filter, part 33-2399, that fits the 2007 and 2008 Nissan 350Z with the 3.5L engine, 2007 and 2008 Infinity G35 models with a 3.5L engine and 2008 Infinity G35’s with the 3.7L engine.

The 2008 350Z is available in Coupe and Roadster body styles and in an array of models - five for the Coupe (including the NISMO 350Z) and three for the Roadster. Again for 2008, the legendary Z(R) features a standard VQ35HR 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 306 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque.

The NISMO 350Z features an aggressive aerodynamics package, a specially tuned independent multi-link suspension, Brembo brakes, NISMO-branded gunmetal gray RAYS super lightweight forged-alloy wheels and NISMO-branded tuned exhaust. The NISMO 350Z is available only with a 6-speed manual transmission.
