NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Returns to ESPN with Allstate 400 at the Brickyard

July 21, 2008 -- The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series returns to ESPN with live, flag-to-flag coverage of the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard from Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday, July 27, at 1 p.m. ET. The Allstate 400 at the Brickyard is the first of 17 NASCAR Sprint Cup events on the ESPN networks to close out the 2008 NASCAR season. The first six air on ESPN, with the final 11 on ABC, including all 10 races in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

Dale Jarrett Returns to Booth as NASCAR Nationwide Series Live from New Hampshire on ABC

June 23, 2008 -- Dale Jarrett returns to the TV booth Saturday, June 28, as ESPN on ABC presents live coverage of the NASCAR Nationwide Series Camping World RV Sales 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, N.H. The telecast begins at 2:30 p.m. ET with NASCAR Countdown and the green flag flies at 3:15 p.m. The telecast from the 1.058-mile track also airs in high definition on ABC HD.

Both Kyle Busch and Tony Stewart Come Away with Darlington Wins

McHenry, IL, May 12, 2008 -- Once again, SPICER® Chassis products helped Joe Gibbs Racing drivers Kyle Busch and Tony Stewart take checkered flags over the past weekend at Darlington Raceway.

Kyle Busch captured his third NASCAR Sprint Cup victory of the ’08 season on Saturday by conquering Darlington at the Dodge Challenger 500. With his win, the driver of the No. 18 M&M’s/Indiana Jones Toyota Camry extended his points lead to 79 over Jeff Burton. Busch led seven times for 169 laps, and has led at least one lap in eight of the 11 races so far this season. This was his third victory in the last three Sprint Cup Series races.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., March 11, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Federal-Mogul Corporation’s Champion® spark plugs helped power Carl Edwards and the #99 Ford to consecutive wins in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Auto Club 500 in Fontana, California, and UAW-Dodge 400 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Champion-sparked #99 Ford charged to a .504-second margin of victory following a restart with just two laps remaining in the UAW-Dodge 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. One week earlier, Edwards’ race to victory in the Auto Club 500 in Fontana, Calif., came 21 hours after the start due to a series of weather-related delays. The final 163 laps were run on Monday morning, with the #99 Ford clearly the most powerful on the track.
