CYPRESS, CA, April 30, 2008 -- As the market demand for compact vehicles increases with the help of rising gas prices, sales of Mitsubishi Motors' Lancer and Outlander vehicles continue to drive the brand's caché. Built on the same global C-Segment platform, the two model lines accounted for 44.2 percent of Mitsubishi Motors North America's (MMNA) total sales in the calendar year 2007.

2007 Was Mitsubishi Motors' Best Sales Year Since 2004
CYPRESS, Calif., Jan. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Mitsubishi Motors announced today that calendar year 2007 (CY07) sales were 128,993, an 8.8% increase compared to 2006 and Mitsubishi's best sales year since 2004.
In December, sales of the fuel-efficient Mitsubishi Lancer sedan were 1,537, up 49.4 percent, marking the ninth monthly sales increase for Lancer in the past ten months. Overall December sales this year were 5,904, a decrease of 40.4 percent compared to December 2006.
Other 2007 sales highlights:
-- Mitsubishi Outlander sales for the year were 23,285, up 103% from 2006.
-- 2007 calendar year Mitsubishi Lancer sales were up 61%.
-- Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder convertible sales were up 8% for the year over 2006.

Mitsubishi Motors Announces Production, Sales and Export Figures for October 2007
Tokyo, November 27, 2007 — Mitsubishi Motors Corporation today announced global production, as well as domestic sales and export figures for October 2007.
Total global production came in at 124,136 units, an increase of 14.8 percent over October 2006 and marking the eighth consecutive monthly increase since March this year. Production volume in Japan increased 10.1 percent to 75,316 units, the thirteenth consecutive month of year-on-year growth. This growth was driven by a 28.8 percent increase in output (26,378 units) of the new Mitsubishi Lancer for the Russian, North American, and Middle East and African markets and by a 147.9 percent increase in output (14,789 units) of the new Mitsubishi Outlander for the U.S., European and Chinese markets.

CYPRESS, Calif., Oct. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc., (MMNA) today reported September sales of 12,102 units, up 17.6 % from last year's September volume of 10,287. Calendar year-to-date sales are 105,826 up 17.4% compared to last year's first-nine-months total.
Sales of the fuel efficient 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer sedan and the Mitsubishi Outlander crossover sport utility continue to lead the way:
-- Mitsubishi Lancer sales were 2,372 units, up 9.4% from last September's volume; and up 77% from last year's CYTD volume.
-- Mitsubishi Outlander closed at 1,624 units, up 148% from last year's volume; and up 172% from last year's CYTD volume.
