Mercedes-Benz to Offer Factory Installed HD Radio Technology on Select Model Year 2009 Vehicles

August 4, 2008 -- Montvale, NJ – Mercedes-Benz announced today that it will offer HD Radio technology on several of its MY 2009 vehicles. The free digital AM/FM radio service is part of Mercedes-Benz’s completely new generation of entertainment systems developed for its M-, R-, GL-, G-Class SUVs and E-Class vehicles.

Mercedes-Benz USA Reports April Sales Of 20,271

Year-To-Date Sales Up 1.4 Percent

MONTVALE, N.J. – While experiencing a marginal three percent decrease in its April sales (20,271 vs. 20,895), Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) maintained a 1.4 percent increase for the first four months of the year (77,918 vs. 76,880), bringing year-to-date sales to the highest level in the company’s history.

DETROIT, MI – The 2008 M-Class line features the ML550 – a new 382-horsepower V8-powered model that replaces the ML500. Providing a 26 percent boost in power, the new ML550 joins three very different models – the fuel-efficient ML320 CDI diesel, the popular ML350 and the high-performance ML63 AMG.

MONTVALE, N.J., Oct. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) today reported its best September on record with sales of 22,459 new vehicles, an increase of 13 percent over last September. This brings MBUSA's year-to-date sales to 180,265, a 1.8 percent increase over the same period in 2006.
