TÜV praises “exemplary solutions”

Stuttgart -- Sep 07, 2007 -- Following the example of its saloon stablemate, the new C-Class Estate has now also been awarded the Environmental Certificate. This means that the certification department of TÜV Süd Management Service GmbH confirms that this estate car has been developed in line with environmental considerations in all aspects, as laid down by ISO standard 14062. Mercedes-Benz is the only automotive brand in the world to have received this prestigious certificate.

Mercedes-Benz USA Records Best September Sales

MONTVALE, N.J., Oct. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) today reported its best September on record with sales of 22,459 new vehicles, an increase of 13 percent over last September. This brings MBUSA's year-to-date sales to 180,265, a 1.8 percent increase over the same period in 2006.
