HIROSHIMA, Japan — Mazda Motor Corporation today reported its financial results for fiscal year (FY) 2007 and announced its projections for FY2008.

FY2007 Consolidated Full Year Highlights:

* Global retail volume increases by nearly 5 percent to 1,363,000 units
* Consolidated sales revenue increases by 7 percent to a record 3,475.8 billion yen
* Consolidated operating profit up 2 percent reaching a record 162.1 billion yen
* Consolidated net income increases 25 percent to a best-ever 91.8 billion yen

FY2008 Projections Highlights:

* Global retail volume to reach 1.48 million units, a 9 percent increase

IRVINE, Calif., March 3, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) today reported another strong sales month with 23,548 units sold in the U.S., a 6.7 percent increase compared to last February. Year-to-date sales of 44,760 are up 8.4 percent year-over-year.

IRVINE, Calif., Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Following three consecutive months of double-digit sales increases, Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) today reported a 1.0 percent decrease in sales for November with 20,580 vehicles sold. Mazda's year-to-date sales remain strong with 271,181 units sold, accounting for a 9.0 percent increase.

Mazda's October sales up 17.8 percent; YTD sales up 9.9 percent

IRVINE, Calif., Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) today reported its best October since 2001 with U.S. sales of 22,201 units, a 17.8 percent increase versus the same period last year. Year-to-date sales of 250,597 are up 9.9 percent year-over-year.

Mazda Motor de Mexico (MMdM) celebrated its best-ever sales month with 1,532 vehicles sold representing an increase of 91 percent over October 2006. On a year-to-date basis, MMdM reported 13,074 total sales, an increase of 141 percent.

CX-9 Crossover SUV Reports Best-Ever Month

IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) today reported its best September since 1994 with U.S. sales of 25,098 units, a 23.9 percent increase versus the same period last year. Year-to-date sales of 228,396 are up 9.2 percent year-over-year.

Mazda's crossover SUV lineup continues to post strong sales led by the three-row, seven-passenger CX-9, which recorded its best month since launch with 2,766 units. CX-7 and Tribute rounded out the lineup with sales of 3,610 and 1,821 units respectively. To date, Mazda has sold more than 50,000 crossover SUVs.
