DENSO Corporation Announces Senior Management Changes

Nissan Manufacturing Communications Manager Announced
Steve Parrett Moving to Americas Headquarters from South Central Region
NASHVILLE, Tenn., April 29, 2008 – Steve Parrett, communications manager in Nissan North America, Inc.’s South Central Region, will become Manager, Manufacturing Communications, based in Tennessee. His appointment is effective May 1.
In his new position, Parrett will be responsible for external communications activities involving NNA’s assembly plants in Smyrna, Tenn., and Canton, Miss., and the company’s powertrain plant in Decherd, Tenn.
In addition, he will work with Nissan Mexicana in communications activities involving its assembly plants in Aguascalientes and Cuernavaca.

Wolfsburg, 28 April 2008 - Volkswagen will increase the number of apprentices at its sites worldwide to more than 10,000 by 2010. This was announced by the Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft Board of Management member for Human Resources, Dr. Horst Neumann, during an international conference organized by IG Metall in Wolfsburg on Monday. He stressed that “globalization needs an outstanding team. That is why Volkswagen is encouraging the competence, commitment and fitness of its workforce worldwide.”

Toyota Announces Manufacturing Management Changes
12/18/2007 -- Erlanger, KY -- Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc. (TEMA) announced today the following management changes:
• Mitsuru Kawai is the new president of Toyota Motor Manufacturing Alabama, Inc. His predecessor, Kunihiko Ogura, will take a new role as executive advisor at New United Motor Manufacturing, Inc. in Fremont, Calif.
• Dave Burbidge, currently general manager at Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indiana, Inc. is promoted to vice president of production control at the TEMA manufacturing office in Erlanger, Ky.
• Jeff Moore has been named vice president of manufacturing at Toyota Motor Manufacturing West Virginia, Inc. and Mike Lutz has been promoted to general manager of administration.
Bridgestone Firestone Announces Management Changes
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Dec. 3, 2007) – Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC (BFNT) has announced that Ralph Burchfield, President Off Road Products Division (ORPD) (an operating group of BFNT) and Firestone Agricultural Tire Company (a business unit of ORPD), and a member of the Board of Directors of BFNT, has elected to retire effective January 1, 2008.
The company has also announced that, due to Burchfield’s decision to retire, it will streamline its organizational structure and eliminate the ORPD operating group. Effective January 1, 2008, the businesses which are part of the ORPD group – Firestone Agricultural Tire Company (FSAG), the Off Road Tire group (OTR) and Firestone Tube Company (FSTU) -- will report directly to Asahiko “Duke” Nishiyama, President, BFNT.
Toyota Announces New Leadership At Lexus, Scion
October 11, 2007 – Torrance, CA - Jim Lentz, executive vice president of Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc., today announced the promotion of Scion Vice President Mark Templin to succeed Jim Farley as group vice president and general manager of Lexus, the company's luxury division.
Farley, who joined Toyota in 1990, resigned today to lead Ford Motor Co.'s global marketing and communications group.
In addition, Lentz announced two other executive promotions. Jack Hollis, corporate manager of Scion, will succeed Templin as vice president of Scion, Toyota's youth brand, and Dawn Ahmed, Toyota Division national cross vehicle marketing manager, will replace Hollis as corporate manager of Scion.
