Lexus Announces Pricing on 2008 Lexus GS Models
TORRANCE, Calif., Oct. 19, 2007 -- Lexus announced manufacturer's suggested retail prices (MSRP) today for the 2008 Lexus GS 350, 2008 Lexus GS 460 and 2008 Lexus GS 450h luxury sedans.
In addition to the numerous interior and exterior luxury enhancements that all 2008 Lexus GS models receive, base prices remain unchanged for the GS 350 and GS 450h hybrid at $44,150 and $54,900 respectively. The GS 460 replaces last year's GS 430, and features a new 4.6-liter V8 engine that provides an additional 52 horsepower, for a total of 342 horsepower. The new GS 460 receives a modest increase of 0.47 percent over the model it replaces, or $245, to $52,620.

By contrast, Ford's domestic brands have made considerable improvements. The announcement was made before the Detroit-based Automotive Press Association (APA) today at the Detroit Athletic Club.
