NEW YORK, March 20, 2008 – Kia Motors America (KMA) today globally unveiled the 2009 Kia Optima midsize sedan at the New York International Auto Show (NYIAS). On sale in early fall, the refreshed Optima offers a completely modified exterior, which offers a more aggressive, dynamic style than previous models, and is outfitted with a new engine that provides more power and better fuel economy. For 2009, Optima also is larger than its predecessors, which complements its distinctive new styling and separates itself from other vehicles in the growing midsize segment.

IRVINE, Calif., March 12, 2008 – Kia Motors America (KMA) has broken its all-time sales record, inked a major sponsorship deal as the Official Automotive Partner of the NBA and launched its all-new Kia Borrego midsize SUV. KMA also is proud to announce seven models, including the Kia Optima, Kia Rio, Kia Rondo, Kia Sedona, Kia Sorento, Kia Spectra and Kia Spectra5 have achieved The Car Book "Best Bet" distinction. Rio and Optima are recipients of the award for the third consecutive year, while the Spectra, Spectra5 and Sorento have achieved this award for the second year in a row.

IRVINE, Calif., Feb. 1, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- Kia Motors America (KMA) today announced January sales of 21,355 units. Leading the way for the brand were Kia Rio, Kia Optima, Kia Spectra and Kia Rondo, which all saw increases over the same period last year.

IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Kia Motors America (KMA) today announced its 14th consecutive year of record sales with 305,473 units sold, a 3.8-percent year-over-year increase. Kia saw nine months of record sales in 2007. Leading the way for the brand in 2007 were Kia Rio, Kia Optima and Kia Sportage, which ended the year with its best month of the year.
