May 19, 2008 -- The Chrysler 300C is an amazing full size family sedan. This luxury sedan comes with a 5.7 liter Hemi V-8 engine, offering 340 horsepower. The 300C SRT-8 model comes with a 6.1 liter Hemi V8 engine delivering 425 horsepower. May 13, 2008 -- The new look of the hood on the 2007 Nissan 350Z has a Z-themed retro-styled power dome. Under the hood there is an updated version of the car’s 3.5 liter V6 engine which includes a higher rev limit and compression ratio. A twin ram-air intake and variable exhaust camshaft timing are also updated features of this engine.

March 28, 2008 -- The Scion xB is a great sub-compact car for cargo or passengers. It was released for the 2004 model year in June of 2003 with its 1.5 liter inline four-cylinder engine. In 2008 the Scion xB introduced a more powerful 158 horsepower 2.4 liter engine.

March 17, 2008 -- In recent years the Volvo S40 gained inches where it mattered most, in the wheelbase which is 3.1 inches longer and in track width 2.2 inches wider in front and 2.5 inches in back. The Swedish manufacturer states pushing the wheels outward in each direction makes the Volvo S40 more stable while opening the interior for more passenger space. Volvo is also marketing the 2008 Volvo C30 as the wild child of the Volvo family. It is designed to be the car of the Gen-Y consumer.

March 18, 2008 -- K&N Engineering has designed a lifetime replacement air filter (E-2993) for the 2008 Ford C-Max with a 1.6 liter engine and the 2007 Ford C-Max with 1.6 liter engine. Ford added the C-Max to its stable of multi purpose vehicles at the 2007 Geneva International Motor Show. It’s a smaller vehicle than the S-Max and Galaxy but still allows the features, space and flexibility of a family vehicle. It is available in the international market place.

Feb. 14, 2008 -- Many race car and engine builders struggle to find an air filtration solution for injector stacks. The filter must be large enough to flow enough air, must securely mount to prevent damage during a race, and yet be small enough to not obstruct the driver’s view. K&N took each of these variables into consideration when developing a new carbon fiber air box at slightly over 4 inches tall.

K&N’s new 100-8576 air box was developed in carbon fiber to attach to four inline injector stacks. Simply measure and cut holes for your 2” – 2 5/8” diameter Hilborn, Kinsler, Engler, or similar injector stacks in the carbon fiber base of the K&N air box, slip the base over the stacks, and then attach the filter top using the provided hardware.

K&N has released a new round tapered universal (cone) air filter, part number RU-5174. It was constructed with an ultra-strong pliable rubber flange which absorbs vibration and allows for secure attachment. K&N universal air filter flanges can stretch for up to 1/16 inch (1.5mm) to fit in-between sizes.

1/29/2008 -- K&N Engineering has developed a performance air intake system for the Opel and Vauxhall European market. The new air intake system (57A-6016) takes advantage of the Apollo, a specially designed K&N air filter enclosure.

The K&N performance air intake kit comes with custom mounting hardware to fit these specific vehicles. The protective shell of the Apollo reduces heat build up and feeds cool free flowing air into the engine to help improve performance.

The 57A-6016 stays securely in place with included stabilizers with brackets. K&N engineers made sure this air intake design provided extra power but kept the cost affordable.

Jan. 24, 2008 -- The Kia Picanto was produced in South Korea as a five door hatchback sedan. The Kia Picanto has been available in the European market since spring of 2004. The 1.0 and 1.1 liter 3 cylinder diesel engine has direct injection and a variable geometry turbocharger delivering up to 74 horsepower. The Kia Picanto is equipped with a CD and MP3 player, air conditioning, electric windows and mirrors and a remote central locking system.

Jan. 15, 2008 -- The Lotus Elise was first released in England in late 1996. This roadster has a hand finished fiberglass body shell on top of its aluminum extrusion and bonded frame. It is capable of speeds up to 150 mph.

K&N Engineering has designed a performance intake system (57A-6030) for the 1996-2003 Lotus Elise 1.8 liter engine. It is a custom design that uses K&N's Apollo air filter enclosure and a washable reusable K&N air filter. See application details below.

Jan. 13, 2008 -- The Seat Ibiza is manufactured in Spain by the Volkswagen group and sold under the Seat brand. The Seat Ibiza is mostly available in the European and South American market. The supermini vehicle spans four generations and is still in production.
