General Motors Brings Performance, Style to NYIAS
Pontiac introductions include three world premiere vehicles
2008-02-29, NEW YORK -- General Motors’ global design talents come together as GM showcases several award-winning concept vehicles at the 2008 New York International Auto Show (NYIAS). Headlining the event will be Pontiac with three world premiere vehicle introductions. Saab will also unveil an environmentally friendly compact sports luxury concept vehicle to North America.
Concept vehicles from China, Europe, the United States and Australia emphasize design, performance and fuel-saving technologies across GM’s eight vehicle brands – Chevrolet, Buick, Pontiac, GMC, Hummer, Saturn, Saab and Cadillac.

2008-02-11, GENEVA – HUMMER will bring the HX Concept, a nimble, reconfigurable off-road concept vehicle, to the Geneva Motor Show next month. With unmistakable HUMMER design cues and a compact, go-anywhere attitude, the HX is an entry-level, open-air vehicle that packs the off-road acumen for which HUMMER has become legendary into an easily convertible body that acclimates to trail conditions, cargo needs or passenger whims.

DETROIT, Mich., Jan. 13, 2008 – Millions of Bridgestone-brand Dueler tires can be found on light trucks from New York to Los Angeles. Four – on a HUMMER in Detroit – can’t be found anywhere else.
Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC (BFNT), in cooperation with General Motors (GM), has designed a Dueler concept tire for the HUMMER HX concept sport utility truck, introduced by GM at the 2008 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS).
