Holden VE Commodore Sportwagon

2008-01-30 -- GM Holden will be showcasing its sleek new VE Commodore Sportwagon when it tackles Mount Panorama for the WPS Bathurst 12 Hour on 8-10 February.

Holden Motorsport will field a 6.0L V8 Sportwagon SS backed Jack Daniel’s for V8 Supercar drivers Shane Price, Cameron McConville and enduro specialist Nathan Pretty.

The production version of the VE Sportwagon will be unveiled at the 2008 Melbourne International Motor Show, starting 29 February.

GM Holden’s Executive Director–Sales, Marketing and Aftersales, Alan Batey, said, “Holden has a great history of success at Mount Panorama, so what better place for the new ultra cool Sportwagon to be showcased than on the track at Bathurst?”

2007-10-24 -- Holden's new VE Commodore Sportwagon will make its Victorian debut at the National 4x4 Show commencing in Melbourne on Thursday 25 October.

Sportwagon, a production-based concept planned to hit Holden showrooms in the first half of 2008, will appeal to both family and business buyers.

Also on display is the VE Ute, the latest iconic model in a line-up that spans almost 60 years of Australian motoring.

These show stoppers will be joined by a number of 4x4 and 4x2 Rodeos and AWD Captiva models which will highlight Holden's broad offering which is designed to meet consumer's differing needs.
