Deadlines Near for HDAW Early Registration Fee Discounts, Hotel Specials

December 13, 2007, ORLAND PARK, Ill. – The deadline for the Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) special Mirage Hotel rates and the early registration fee discount deadline are nearing. Four Fleet Executives to Discuss Buying Decisions at HDAW ’08: “Why Fleets Buy” Panel Featured on Jan. 23

October 22, 2007, ORLAND PARK, Ill. – Four top maintenance executives from international, regional and local heavy duty truck fleets will discuss the factors that drive their decisions on the who, where, when and how of purchasing parts. The panel discussion will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 23 during Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW). HDAW is from Monday, Jan. 21 through Thursday, Jan. 24 at The Mirage in Las Vegas, Nev.

Moderated by Bruce Plaxton of BGP Marketing, the panelists include Sid Gooch of FedEx, Steve Duley of Schneider National, Carl Lyth of Pepsi Cola and Kevin Tomlinson of South Shore Transport. Cummins Takes Segment Highest Award in JD Power and Associates Heavy-Duty Truck Engine/Transmission Customer Satisfaction Study

COLUMBUS, Ind., (Oct. 16, 2007) - Cummins Inc. (NYSE:CMI) announced that it has earned a prestigious award for customer satisfaction in the J.D. Power and Associates 2007 Heavy-Duty Truck Engine/Transmission Customer Satisfaction StudySM. Cummins received the award for highest customer satisfaction with heavy-duty diesel engines in the "vocational" segment. The Cummins ISX and ISM make up almost all of the Cummins engine models in this segment.

Cummins led the ranking on three engine factors affecting customer satisfaction, leading the vocational segment on performance, cost of ownership and warranty.
