MILAN and CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Nuvera Fuel Cells, a leading designer, developer and manufacturer of fuel cell power systems, today announced it reached a multi-year agreement with Fiat Powertrain Technologies and Centro Ricerche Fiat to research and develop a high-efficiency hydrogen fuel cell propulsion system for fuel cell vehicles. September 22th, 2005 -- Fiat and Zastava announced today an assembly contract agreement to manufacture the Fiat Punto at Zastava’s facility in Kragujevac, Serbia, which is located 140 km South-East of Belgrade. CKDs (Complete Knock-Down) production, based upon kits shipped from Fiat’s Mirafiori, Turin, factory, is expected to commence within twelve months. Annual output is estimated to reach some 16,000 units. Zastava’s overall industrial investment will total approximately 15 million euro.
