A1 TEAM USA Carries Strong Momentum into Brands Hatch
Top-10 in A1GP championship within reach
KENT, England, April 29, 2008 — A1 TEAM USA’s late-season surge has vaulted it into contention to finish in the top-10 in the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport going into this weekend’s (May 2-4) 10th and final round at Brands Hatch.
Jonathan Summerton’s victory in the previous round in the Feature race at Shanghai, China, elevated A1 TEAM USA to 12th in the standings with 44 points. Portugal is 10th with 50, China 11th with 46, Brazil 13th with 44 and India 14th with 40. In A1GP, the top-10 finishers in the Sprint and Feature races score points.
A1 TEAM USA, with Summerton driving the “We the People” car, has scored 31 in the last two rounds. He was third in the Feature and fifth in the Sprint at Mexico City.
Aston Martins Dominate at Silverstone
Gaydon, 22 April 2008 -- Aston Martin triumphed in both GT1 and GT4 categories in front of a 25,000-strong crowd in the first race of the FIA GT Championship at Silverstone over the weekend.

In poor weather with heavy fog and rain, the famous tourist trophy was won by Karl Wendlinger and Ryan Sharp in the number 33 Jetalliance Aston Martin DBR9. Allan Simonsen and Philipp Peter finished 3rd in the Gigawave DBR9 after holding off intense competition in a thrilling climax to the race.
The second Jetalliance car driven by Lukas Lichtner-Hoyer and Alex Müller claimed an excellent 6th place after starting from 9th on the GT1 grid.
Ryuji Yamamoto Takes Second Consecutive 2nd Place on Podium at Formula Renault UK Championship
April 17, 2008 -- 12-13 April, Rockingham Circuit, UK, Rounds 3 and 4 of this year’s Formula Renault UK championship took place at Rockingham Circuit (1 lap, 3.122kms), located in Northamptonshire, approximately 2 hours north of the capital, London. Nissan Motor Co., Ltd (hereafter Nissan), Nissan Motorsports International Co., Ltd (hereafter NISMO) scholarship recipient and series’ participant Ryuji Yamamoto (19) took 2nd place in both races, in what were his first podium finishes in Britain.
New Citroën Berlingo Van Debuts at Commercial Vehicle Show
4/14/2008 -- The New Citroën Berlingo van made its public debut at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham (15-17 April 2008).
Citroën will also presented its most recent light commercial vehicles, the Citroën Nemo, Citroën Jumpy and Citroën Jumper.
The New Berlingo is set for launch in May 2008 and will be sold alongside the Berlingo First as a functional, high-performance vehicle strong on styling, comfort and running costs.

Land Rover Helps England’s Highways Agency to Keep Traffic Moving
Gaydon, Warwickshire 21 September 2007 -- Land Rover is supplying 49 of its vehicles to the Highways Agency, the organisation responsible for maintaining and operating England’s motorways and major ‘A’ roads. The new Discovery 3 vehicles will replace existing Land Rovers from the agency’s fleet which have been used by its uniformed Traffic Officers, who patrol the motorways day and night helping to keep the traffic moving.
