First major reveal of Nissan supercar outside of Japan

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (November 13, 2007) - Nissan Middle East FZE (NMEF) will offer automotive enthusiasts a vehicle line-up that hits the high notes in performance, luxury and elegant design when the 9th Middle East International Motor Show opens at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre this week.

Nissan will showcase a range of all-new products including the Nissan GT-R and the Nissan Altima Coupe, while the Infiniti spotlight will be on the all-new Infiniti EX luxury crossover and Infiniti G37 Coupe.

2007-11-08 -- Holden’s most globally recognised concept car will headline the Middle East’s largest automotive event, the Dubai Motor Show, starting on 14 November.

The stunning EFIJY, a contemporary reincarnation of the 1953 FJ sedan, has featured in magazines, websites and television programs around the world and its Middle East visit will further establish its global popularity.

Richard Ferlazzo, GM Holden’s Chief Designer who designed and helped build the showstopper, will also make the Middle East journey. He said it was fantastic that EFIJY had another opportunity to be displayed on a world stage.

“This car exists purely for automotive entertainment, so it’s very gratifying that it gets to be showcased around the world like this,” Mr Ferlazzo said.

Held once every two years and popularly known as the Dubai Motor Show, the Middle East International Motor Show is the single largest international automotive event in the Middle East. Stretching across over 11 exhibition halls of The Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, the 2005 show ran in conjunction with two additional shows - Motor Parts & Accessories and MOTORplus.
