TOKYO, June 16, 2008 — Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., today announced that the first all-new Nissan Teana, the flagship model in the company’s line-up in the Chinese market, rolled off the lines at the Xianfang plant of Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. (DFL), Nissan's partner in China. The premium sedan made its global debut at Auto China in April 2008 where it received the “Best World Premier” award.

June 10, 2008 -- June 8, Beijing Golden Port Circuit Round 3 of the “China Circuit Championship” or “CCC” took place at Beijing’s Golden Port Circuit (1 lap, 2.39kms), continuing the closely-fought battle from the last round in the series. The winner in the 1,600 class was a NISSAN Tiida, run by the DongFeng NISSAN Ghia Team, driver #4Lin Li Feng taking a lights-to-flag victory.

Company to Build New Plant in Zhengzhou

BEIJING, May 28, 2008 – Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. (DFL), Nissan’s local partner in China, today announced it’s 2008 to 2012 mid-term business plan for China focused on building a stronger market position and increased global competitiveness.

The ambitious five-year plan, named Plan 13 ("one cubed"), expands on the company’s previous business blueprint, Plan 23 ("two cubed"), under which the company doubled sales volume between 2003 and 2007.

Plan 13 has the following objectives represented by three “1”s:

1. Significant Growth
Further business expansion targeting sales of 1 million vehicles and revenue of RMB 100 billion (USD: 14.5 billion) by 2012

J.D. Power Asia Pacific Reports: Higher-Priced Vehicles Display Higher Appeal on Average in Competitive Chinese Market

SHANGHAI, 30 November 2007 —Dongfeng Nissan models rank highest in two of seven vehicle segments, and Tianjin FAW models rank highest in two additional segments, according to the J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2007 China Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) StudySM released today. FAW-Volkswagen, Guangzhou Toyota and Shanghai GM each rank highest in three other vehicle segments.
