According to PPG Industries, black and blue are gaining on repeat leader
TROY, Mich., Oct. 17, 2007 – Around the globe, silver is at the top of the charts as the most popular color for 2007 cars … but other colors are gaining on the perennial leader. PPG Introduces SideView Window Format in 2008 Color Book
STRONGSVILLE, Ohio, Oct. 1, 2007 – PPG Industries’ (NYSE: PPG) automotive refinish business introduced the exclusive SideView Window format, which provides an open window adjacent to each color chip, in its all-new 2008 Domestic Color Information Book.
The SideView Window format enables users to place a color chip page over any part of a vehicle to identify the OEM code that best matches the repair. The 2008 book also features color chips mounted on special gray paper that will improve a technician’s ability to see subtle differences between similar colors.
