All-New, Next-Generation Cadillac SRX Coming in 2009

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif., 2008-08-15 – Today Cadillac provided a special sneak preview of the next-generation SRX Crossover, a 2010 model that will launch worldwide in mid-2009.The all-new Cadillac SRX is intended to bring a more dynamic alternative to the heart of the luxury crossover segment, featuring a fresh iteration of Cadillac’s signature design language.

For 2009, the SRX crossover maintains its distinctively styled exterior and luxurious interior. Performance is derived from either a 3.6L V-6 with variable valve timing or a powerful 4.6L Northstar V-8 that is renowned for its power and smoothness.

2007-10-26 -- The 2008 model year promises to be an exciting year for Cadillac, Corvette and HUMMER in Europe. Apart from the various model year refinements and updates, a range of new models will make their début on the European market. In addition to the introduction of the all-new Cadillac BLS Wagon and Cadillac CTS, there are updates across the Cadillac and HUMMER range as well as enhancements for the sixth generation Corvette Coupe and Convertible. It demonstrates the commitment of these iconic and luxury brands to continued growth in the European market.

Still fresh from the all-new, elegantly handcrafted interior it received in 2007, the 2008 Cadillac SRX crossover adds more luxury and convenience to its acclaimed blend of driving performance, spacious versatility and passenger comfort.

The completely redesigned SRX interior featured a new instrument panel, hand-wrapped upper trim, console, center stack, door trim, wood trim, analog clock and steering wheel, providing a more inviting and luxurious environment.
