2008-03-03, DETROIT - GM dealers in the United States delivered 270,423 vehicles in February, a decrease of 13 percent compared with an unusually strong February last year.

Cadillac Showcases Design, Innovation at Geneva Motor Show

2008-01-17, DETROIT – Cadillac was recognized with two EyesOn Design Awards for Design Excellence honors at the 2008 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). The 2009 CTS-V performance sedan captured the production car award and the concept car category honor went to the dramatic Cadillac CTS Coupe Concept. It was the second straight year the Cadillac CTS lineup was recognized by the EyesOn Design judges – the 2008 Cadillac CTS sedan won the production car category at the ’07 NAIAS.

2008-01-09, DETROIT – Cadillac’s new 2008 Cadillac CTS sports sedan, already a hit with critics and luxury consumers, today earned the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s Top Safety Pick for 2008.

The award results from CTS earning the Institute’s highest ratings in front, side and rear crash testing, as well as standard application of Stabilitrak electronic stability control system, which can help drivers avoid crashes. The CTS is one of only three large luxury cars to earn this designation.

General Motors of Canada Reports November 2007 Sales

Oshawa, Ontario, December 3, 2007 – For November 2007, General Motors of Canada dealers delivered a total of 28,071 vehicles, down 10.2% from the same month last year.

“November was a soft month overall for industry retail sales,” said Marc Comeau, GM of Canada’s vice-president of sales, service, and marketing. “At GM we continue to see strength from our recently launched products like the Saturn Outlook, GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave crossover utilities and the Cadillac CTS.
