NASHVILLE, Tenn., Jan. 28, 2008 – Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC (BFNT) has announced price increases on the company’s Bridgestone and Firestone brand tire lines, as well as all associate brand tires. The announced increases, up to 8 percent, on passenger and light truck, truck and bus, and agricultural and off-the-road tires, will affect the replacement, original equipment and export channels. The price increases are scheduled to begin phasing in March 1, 2008.

DETROIT, Mich., Jan. 13, 2008 – Millions of Bridgestone-brand Dueler tires can be found on light trucks from New York to Los Angeles. Four – on a HUMMER in Detroit – can’t be found anywhere else.

Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC (BFNT), in cooperation with General Motors (GM), has designed a Dueler concept tire for the HUMMER HX concept sport utility truck, introduced by GM at the 2008 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS).

Dahl is the first teammate to be elected to this position from BFRC, the retail and commercial subsidiary of Bridgestone Americas Holding, Inc. Bloomington, Ill., Dec. 12, 2007 – Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC (BFNT) is pleased to announce that an overwhelming majority of teammates at its Bloomington, Ill., Off Road Tire plant have voted to approve a contract extension through 2012.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Dec. 3, 2007) – Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC (BFNT) has announced that Ralph Burchfield, President Off Road Products Division (ORPD) (an operating group of BFNT) and Firestone Agricultural Tire Company (a business unit of ORPD), and a member of the Board of Directors of BFNT, has elected to retire effective January 1, 2008.

The company has also announced that, due to Burchfield’s decision to retire, it will streamline its organizational structure and eliminate the ORPD operating group. Effective January 1, 2008, the businesses which are part of the ORPD group – Firestone Agricultural Tire Company (FSAG), the Off Road Tire group (OTR) and Firestone Tube Company (FSTU) -- will report directly to Asahiko “Duke” Nishiyama, President, BFNT.

Tokyo, November 27, 2007 – Bridgestone Corporation announced today that it will begin supplying POTENZA RE070R RFT Run-Flat tires (RFT) for factory installation as standard equipment on the NISSAN GT-R, which is scheduled to be released to the U.S. market in June 2008. Bridgestone Run-Flat tires incorporate proprietary technology that allows continued driving/functioning at a specified speed for a specified mileage after losing air pressure.

Plant achievements recognized by federal government

The Bloomington plant today hosted Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) officials and local dignitaries to celebrate its achievement of federal OSHA Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star status. The Bloomington plant is the sixth facility in the Bridgestone Americas family of companies to receive this prestigious designation.
