Dan Fresh of DXR Racing will Pilot the Baja Raider Truck in Defense of Baja 1000 Class Victory

November 9, 2007, CYPRESS, Calif. -- Today at Mitsubishi Motors North America (MMNA), the Mitsubishi Raider truck prepared and campaigned by DXR Racing received a rousing send off prior to start of the 2007 edition of the Baja 1000. Dan Fresh will once again pilot the same truck that scored a narrow (33 second) class victory in the 2006 race. The 2007 race on November 12th begins in Ensenada, and concludes on the 16th with a victory ceremony in Cabo San Lucas.

Team HUMMER Vehicles To Be Equipped with Micron Imaging and Flash Memory Solutions

2007-11-06, DETROIT and BOISE, Idaho – To document Rod Hall’s entry into his 40th SCORE International Tecate Baja 1000, HUMMER, Micron Technology, Inc., and Rod Hall Racing have partnered to equip Hall’s Team HUMMER mini stock-class HUMMER H3 with innovative image sensor and advanced flash memory technology from Micron. This technology will record video from the vehicle as the action unfolds in the spectacular off-road race.

This year’s SCORE Baja 1000 that begins Nov. 13 in Ensenada, Mexico, and travels down the entire Baja Peninsula, celebrates the 40th anniversary of the race and represents 40 years of competing in the contest for Rod Hall, 69, an off-road racing legend.

HUMMER H3 pilot and team owner, Rod Hall enters 40th consecutive Baja 1000

2007-11-06, DETROIT – Team HUMMER will celebrate the 40th Anniversary running of the legendary SCORE International Tecate Baja 1000 with two new full stock-class vehicles entered in this year’s grueling 1,300 mile off-road race – a 2008 HUMMER H2 SUT and 2008 H3 Alpha.

This year’s running of the Baja 1000, begins on November 13, in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. It will finish 1,300 miles later on November 15 in Cabo San Lucas.
