Chrysler makes capital investment of $34.9 million in the facility, with $10 million in future upgrades
Yucca, Ariz., Nov 5, 2007 - Chrysler LLC dedicated its new Arizona Proving Ground (APG) with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, Nov. 2. The Chrysler facility, located on the former Ford proving ground lands in Yucca, Ariz., represents a $34.9 million capital investment. Chrysler will make an additional $10 million in facility upgrades.
New "Hardware in the Loop" Simulator in the Technical Center of SEAT
FOR SIMULATION OF ESP BEHAVIOUR PATTERNS
Martorell, 22-10-2007 -- Once again, the SEAT Technical Centre has proven its exceptional R&D&i potential, with a new facility, a “Hardware in the Loop” simulator (HIL) for testing ESP systems was installed in the Chassis Electronics department and inaugurated on 5 October.
The HIL simulator is used to simulate the ESP electronic stability programme’s behaviour patterns in all driving conditions. There are more than 700 simulations that systematically check that the ESP terminal performs according to specifications and provides the driver with all necessary information.
