Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, Harbin China Powertrain JV Sign AT Licensing Agreement

Tokyo, June 26, 2008 — Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) today signed a technology licensing agreement with its powertrain JV enterprise in China Harbin Dongan Automotive Engine Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (DAE) covering production of 4- and 5-speed automatic transmissions.

DAE began construction work on a new factory in March this year with a view to commence production in April 2010. Plans call for the new facility to have an annual production capacity of 150,000 units and to produce 50,000 units in its first year of operation. Production capacity will be raised to meet future increases in demand.

Mercedes-Benz C-Class: New 4MATIC generation

In the C-Class Mercedes-Benz is offering a new generation of all-wheel-drive 4MATIC, which improves on previous all-wheel technology with higher efficiency, lower weight and more compact design. These advantages versus its predecessor are reflected in even better traction and more efficient fuel consumption of up to 0.5 litres per 100 kilometres. The 4MATIC models are equipped with a seven-speed automatic gearbox as standard.

AISIN Group to Hold Joint Exhibition at 40th Tokyo Motor Show 2007

October 16, 2007 -- Six AISIN Group Companies, including the parent company, Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd. (President: Yasuhito Yamauchi; Headquarters: Kariya, Aichi) as well as Aisin Takaoka Co., Ltd., Aisin Chemical Co., Ltd., Aisin AW Co., Ltd., Aisin AI Co., Ltd. and ADVICS Co., Ltd., will jointly exhibit their products at the 40th Tokyo Motor Show 2007 to be held at Makuhari Messe (Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture) from October 26 (Friday) to November 11 (Sunday).
