Celebrities arrived at the event in Audi R8’s, Audi Q7 SUV's and Audi A8L sedans. Tony Stark’s car, the Audi R8, was also on display on the red carpet.

As hosts Ronnie Lott and Donovan McNabb looked on, entrants were given a Callaway wedge and one chance to sink their shot. Jan 30, 2008 -- Audi has repeated last year’s success in the reader poll of one of Germany’s leading automotive magazines. The readers of auto, motor und sport (ams) magazine placed Audi models in first place in four classes.

“The reader poll is an important indicator for us. And Audi’s success with ams readers shows us that we’ve got the right products,” said Rupert Stadler, Chairman of the Board of Management of AUDI AG, upon being presented with the commendation. “At the same time, the great results are an incentive for the entire team.”

With four prizes, Audi is once again the most successful brand in the poll. The success of the new Audi R8 sports car, which banished its established competitors from the top ranking, is particularly notable.

Jan 17, 2008 -- Audi has taken first place in the AutoMarxX image and brand study by Germany’s ADAC automobile club. Rupert Stadler, Chairman of the Board of Management at Audi, accepted the coveted “Yellow Angel” prize today in Munich.

“Our product and quality initiative continues to bear fruit. This important award goes to our entire Audi team,” Stadler said at the award presentation. “Without their contributions, our success would not be possible.”

Audi's R8-based concept car delivers 500PS and 1,000 Nm thanks to V12 TDI power

Jan 14, 2008 -- After ripping up the Le Mans racing rulebook with the diesel-powered R10 TDI, Audi is exploring the possibility of breaking yet another mould with a road-going R8-based TDI super-car. The R8 V12 TDI Concept makes its debut at this month’s North American International Auto Show in Detroit, replacing the production sports car’s mid-mounted petrol FSI V8 with a 12-cylinder TDI endowed with an incredible 1,000Nm of torque.
