Ford Motor Company Launches DSFL in Asia
BANGKOK, Thailand, July 8, 2008 - Ford Motor Company is launching its successful "Driving Skills for Life" program this year in select Asia markets, including Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines. In cooperation with the Asia Injury Prevention Foundation and government agencies in the four ASEAN countries, the program will teach practical skills and training for safe and fuel-efficient driving.
Driving Skills for Life is a free course that mixes classroom learning and practical training to help increase awareness of driving techniques that save fuel. The training is customized in each participating market to reflect the local driving environment and road conditions.

TOKYO, May 8, 2008 — Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and Yulon Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. will present the first “NISSAN TECHNOLOGY SQUARE” event at the Eslite Bookstore in Taipei City, Taiwan. The public automotive technologies showcase opens today and runs through May 15.
After completing its run in Taiwan, the Nissan Technology Square will visit several cities throughout the year in multiple markets, including India, Indonesia, Singapore and other locations to be determined.

KARIYA (Japan), March 28, 2008 - DENSO Corporation announced today that on April 1 it will consolidate DENSO International Asia Pte. Ltd. (DIAS), DENSO's Singapore-based regional headquarters for the Asia and Oceania region, and DENSO International Singapore Pte. Ltd. (DISP), DENSO's Singapore-based subsidiary that is responsible for sales of aftermarket products in the Asia and Oceania and Middle East regions.
The consolidated company, DIAS, will oversee operations, including finance and distribution for DENSO group companies in Asia and Oceania, and aftermarket sales operations in the Asia and Oceania and Middle East regions.

New Aston Martin Race Series for Asia in 2008
Nov. 28, 2007 -- Aston Martin is launching an exciting new one-make race series for Asia. This follows the announcement of two new Aston Martin dealerships in Shanghai and Beijing.
Called the Aston Martin Asia Cup (AMAC), the series starts in 2008 and will consist of 12 races throughout the Asia Pacific region including China, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore. Each race will feature a grid of 18 Aston Martin Vantage N24s, a 4.3 litre race-developed evolution of the V8 Vantage which has been proven in endurance and sprint races in Europe and the Middle East.

Tokyo, Oct 23, 2007 - Chrysler LLC will reconfirm its commitment to Japan and Asia at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show this week, with five vehicle premieres for the region, a new Dodge lineup for Japan, and the participation of Philip Murtaugh, CEO of Asia Operations for Chrysler. This will be Murtaugh's first speaking engagement in his new role at a major motor show, taking place within his first 30 days on the job.

Wolfsburg, 18 October 2007 - The Volkswagen Group delivered 4.61 million vehicles world-wide between January and September 2007, setting a new record for the first nine months of a year. This corresponds to an increase of 8.2 percent compared to the same period last year. September likewise demonstrated a new record for the same month in any year: 545,500 vehicles sold mean an increase of 6.5 percent compared to September 2006.
