March 18, 2008 -- K&N Engineering has designed a lifetime replacement air filter (E-2993) for the 2008 Ford C-Max with a 1.6 liter engine and the 2007 Ford C-Max with 1.6 liter engine. Ford added the C-Max to its stable of multi purpose vehicles at the 2007 Geneva International Motor Show. It’s a smaller vehicle than the S-Max and Galaxy but still allows the features, space and flexibility of a family vehicle. It is available in the international market place.

Jan. 24, 2008 -- The Kia Picanto was produced in South Korea as a five door hatchback sedan. The Kia Picanto has been available in the European market since spring of 2004. Nov. 27, 2007 -- The Ford F150 series is one of the best selling vehicles in the United States and closes in on the million unit mark annually. K&N dynamometer testing shows a 9.88 horsepower gain @ 4200 RPM. K&N designers removed the OE air box and intake and built a larger intake system to open up the breathing capacity necessary for the 4.6 liter engine to get the full amount of air it needs.

November 2007 -- In 1989, Dodge produced an amazing muscle machine, the Viper. With an amazing 400 HP, this first generation viper was a fast step in the right direction. Oct. 16, 2007 -- K&N Engineering has designed a replacement air filter, 33-2927, for the Renault Clio III, a popular car in Europe. The simple drop-in design makes it easy to add performance. Simply remove the disposable air filter and replace it with the new K&N replacement Air Filter.

Unlike disposable filters, K&N Air Filters use a unique pleated design with oiled cotton fabric layers sandwiched between two layers of epoxy-coated aluminum wire screens. The filters capture airborne dirt particles while allowing virtually unrestricted air flow into the engine. These dirt particles cling to the outside of the filter and become part of the filtering media.
