Changes in the Supervisory Board of Skoda Auto
Wolfsburg, 26 October 2007 - The incumbent Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Skoda Auto, Dr. Vratislav Kulhanek, will retire from the Supervisory Board with effect from October 31, 2007 to pursue other interests in the automotive sector.
The shareholders, Supervisory Board and Board of Directors of Skoda Auto would like to thank Dr. Kulhanek for 10 years of dedicated service to the company both in his capacity as Chairman of the Board of Directors and subsequently as Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and for his outstanding contribution to the dynamic development of the company.
Hans Dieter Pötsch, currently a member of the Supervisory Board of Skoda Auto, will be nominated to the Supervisory Board for election as its new Chairman.
Detlef Wittig, former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Skoda Auto, will join the Skoda Supervisory Board with effect from November 1.
