A1 Grand Prix Goes To Le Mans
02/06/2006 - A1 Grand Prix will be present at the Le Mans 24 Hours, the world’s most famous endurance race, taking place on 17-18 June.A1 Team Netherlands Seat Holder Jan Lammers will be driving the Racing for Holland Dome S101 Hb, powered by a 650 bhp Judd V10, together with A1 Team Malaysia driver Alex Yoong and former Ferrari and McLaren F1 driver Stefan Johansson.
But the presence of Lammers and Yoong at Le Mans is not the only A1 Grand Prix presence there. On the Racing for Holland Dome, which is completely covered in footballs, hinting towards the Soccer World Cup, the A1 Grand Prix, A1 Team Netherlands and A1GP Zandvoort logos have been placed on a few football panels. This way A1 Grand Prix is supporting the Racing for Holland and two members of the A1GP family, Lammers and Yoong.
