Hooker LS1 Block Hugger Headers

Bowling Green, KY, April 2008 -- Hooker Headers is announcing the availability of their new block hugger Headers for LS1 engines. Hooker LS1 Block Hugger Headers come finished in high heat resistant black paint P/N 2312HKR, show quality chrome P/N 2315HKR, metallic ceramic coated P/N 2313HKR and polished stainless steel P/N 2314HKR.

These block huggers are for muscle car, classic truck, and street rod applications retro-fitting an LS1 engine that need a tight tuck header to avoid clearance issues with frame rails, steering components and for applications that need more ground clearance then offer from a long tube headers.

All LS1 block hugger Headers feature lightweight 1-5/8” mandrel bent primary tubes merging to a 4” long 2.5” outlet collector. Durable 3/8” thick-machined flanges are utilized at the cylinder head to ensure proper seal for a leak free installation.
