Mitsubishi Motors Reports April 2008 Sales

CYPRESS, Calif., May 1, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- Mitsubishi Motors today announced total April 2008 sales of 8,878.

-- Mitsubishi Lancer was the volume leader at 2,598. This was the best month for Mitsubishi Lancer sales in 7 months.
-- Mitsubishi Galant sales were 1,402 for the month. Mitsubishi Galant sales year-to-date are up 16.8% compared to the first four months of 2007.
-- Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder sales were 803 in April, an increase of 42.4% compared to April 2007.
-- Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution sales were 364, up 14.5% for the month compared to last April.
-- Consistent with the overall U.S. market, total Mitsubishi sales were off 26.3% for April compared to April 2007 sales of 12,047.
