Mitsubishi Motors Reports March 2008 Sales

CYPRESS, Calif., April 1, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- Mitsubishi Motors today announced total March 2008 sales of 10,750.

Highlights:
-- Mitsubishi Galant was the volume leader at 2,676, up 26.6% from last March's volume.
-- This was Mitsubishi Galant's best first quarter in three years.
-- Mitsubishi Lancer closed at 2,514, up 32.7% from last March's volume.
-- This was also Mitsubishi Lancer's best first quarter in three years.
-- Overall Mitsubishi sales were off 14.2% for March compared to March 2007 sales of 12,536.
