Hyundai Promotes Chris Perry to Director, Marketing Communications
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., 12/10/2007 -- Hyundai Motor America (HMA) announced today the promotion of Chris Perry to director, Marketing Communications. Perry previously served as the senior national manager of Advertising and has held several other marketing and strategic planning positions since joining Hyundai in 2000. He will continue to report to Joel Ewanick, Hyundai’s vice president of Marketing.
Perry’s responsibilities include creative and media strategy and planning for general market, multicultural, interactive and dealer advertising and integration across the various communication disciplines. He also oversees the work of Hyundai’s general market agency, Goodby, Silverstein & Partners and Hispanic agency, LatinWorks. He was one of the primary architects of the recent “Think About It” national advertising campaign – one of Hyundai’s most successful ever at enhancing brand image among consumers.
“Chris has truly earned an expanded role in developing Hyundai’s brand strategy,” said Ewanick. “He’s excelled in every role at the company and brings invaluable insight and perspective into our brand development efforts.”
