New Chief Press Officer Joins Ford of Britain Product PR Team
BRENTWOOD, Essex, 22 October, 2007 – Ford of Britain Public Affairs has strengthened its Product PR team with the appointment of Emma Bergg as Chief Press Officer.
Emma Bergg (29) began her career as a mechanical engineering graduate at Ford's Dunton development centre in Essex. Within the Powertrain Engineering department, she worked on a variety of key projects including the new Ford S-MAX, Galaxy and Mondeo. Most recently she held the position of Internal Communications Specialist for Product Development, Ford of Europe. She joins Ford of Britain with responsibility for product affairs and will report to Fiona Pargeter, Public Affairs Manager.
"I am delighted to welcome Emma to the product team", said Tim Holmes, Executive Director, Communications and Public Affairs. "Her skills and experience will bring a new dimension to the team, and with so many exciting new products on the horizon Emma's fresh talents will be invaluable."
Outside of work Emma has a keen interest in cars and also a passion for the outdoors, particularly climbing mountains and mountain biking.
